This inspiring video was created through the Annapolis Valley Summer Video Camp held at the Annapolis Valley First Nation and Central Kings School, Cambridge Station Nova Scotia. Through song creation, traditional and hiphop dance and improvisation, youth explore the question “What is Mi’kmaq culture?”. They create a dramatic scene in which a visitor arrives and asks “why do you have a tipi there?” The response is “we call it wigwam.”
